Bookings & Deposits

For bookings during our busy periods (school holidays and over Christmas), a deposit of £50 will need to be made at the time of booking, unless agreed otherwise. All deposits are non-refundable but transferable to another booking if 14 days’ notice of the cancellation is provided.

The remainder of the payment will need to be made on or prior to arrival. From 1st February 2026, we will no longer be accepting payment on departure.

If you wish to collect your dog early, no refund will be offered unless agreed in exceptional circumstances.

Vaccinations

Proof of vaccination (annual boosters or puppy vaccinations if under 1 year in age) must be supplied before or on arrival. If proof of vaccination cannot be provided then we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

It is preferred and recommended that dogs are vaccinated annually against Kennel Cough. If vaccinating your dog against Kennel Cough, this must be administered at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. We do not accept responsibility for animals in our care contracting Kennel Cough.

Boarding

Whilst every care is taken, all animals are boarded entirely at owner’s risk. In the event of your animal becoming unwell, Country Kennels (West Moors) Ltd is authorised, in an emergency, to consult our own vet. In non-emergencies, we will consult your vet and any bill resulting from treatment will be settled by yourselves with your vet.

Personal items brought to Country Kennels are left at our premises at the owners risk.

Our GDPD policy: We hold your personal information for trading purposes only. We will NOT share your information with any third parties. We will keep your data secure and confidential and use it only for the purpose for which it was obtained.
